MONTE MARE
If you want to have a lot of fun you have to go to the Monte Mare in Rheinbach. It is a swimming hall with two cool slides. The first slide is green and 200 metres long. The second one is a black slide. It is very cool because it is dark inside. There are only some small lights, but they are not very bright.
Outside the swimming hall there are three jumpboards. You can use them only in the summer and not in the winter. In the Monte Mare there is a sauna, too. It is very hot inside.
Another attraction in the Monte Mare is the diving pool, which is very deep (about 20m). On the bottom of the diving pool there are skelets, ships and a lot of other things. It is very scary. There are always a lot of people, who enjoy diving there.
In the swimming hall there are two hot pools, one pool for the little children, one wave pool and one pool for swimmers. There is an outside pool, too. The water is a little bit warm, so that you can use this pool in all seasons.
In the swimming hall there is a big restaurant, too. There you can eat and drink a lot and they have not expensive prices.
I like the Monte Mare in Rheinbach and I always had a lot of fun when I went there.

BRONX ROCK - The climbing hall in Wesseling
Do you know the famous climbing hall in Wesseling that is called BRONX? There you can go climbing all day. Try it! If you are a bit scared you can climb on easy walls but if you are brave and fit you can climb on the difficult walls. You’ll have a lot of fun. It is really cool! You can even have your birthday there, because there is a special room where you can eat cake and listen to music and so… In the climbing hall in Wesseling there are people who are going to teach you how to climb well, if it’s your first time to climb. Why don’t you spend some Euro on this exciting and cool free time activity? It is really good that you can go there easily by train. Maybe you do it together with you family at the weekend. There is also a little restaurant where you can sit and take a look at the climbing walls and then you can see how the others are climbing. That is really interesting because sometimes there are people who climb very professional. I think this climbing hall is the best!

The swimming pool in Bornheim
You need just a few minutes to get from our school to the swimming pool of Bornheim. The swimming pool has six swimming basins, three inside and three outside. One of the outside basins has warm water the whole year. Inside there is one long tunnel slide and three jumpboards which are one metre, three metres and five metres. The three metres and the five metres board are on a jumptower. The basin where the slide ends and where the jumpboards are, has a flexible bottom which can go up and down. The swimming pool has also a sauna and an extra room with a little basin where mothers can go swimming with their babies. The changing rooms are inside, there are changing rooms for one person or for groups up to fifteen people. On the floor near of the changing rooms there are big orange had driers. You can use them, without paying money.

The Museumsmeile in Bonn
The Museumsmeile in Bonn is a street in Bonn. There are a lot of museums. Sometimes there are conzerts in one of the museums. This year bands like Seeed or Tokio Hotel played there.
And even the famous rapper 50cent is going to play there. At the Museumsmeile there is the tower of history. In the tower of history are many famous people which died a long time ago. In the Museum the Museum guide shows you and tells you a lot about the first world war.
And you can also see how the people lived about 100 or even 200 years ago. It´s really funny to see how people lived a long time ago, and which clothes they wore. If you want to visit the house of history you don´t need money, it’s for free. SO if you have time you can visit the house of history in Bonn. And if you like conzerts...go there too!
PHANTASIALAND
If you want to have a lot of fun then you can go to the Phantasialand. It’s in Brühl (near Cologne). It’s open from 1st April until 31st.
November and from 9 o’clock in the morning until 6 o’clock in the evening but in summer it’s open until 7 o’clock in the evening.
You don’t have to bring a rucksack with food or so because there are a lot of snack bars and it’s not allowed to take a rucksack on the roller coasters. The roller coasters are so cool that you have to go there !!!!!
It’s expensive (it’s 28€ for adults and kids who are taller than 1,45m, it’s 24.50€ for kids from 1,00m up to 1,45m, and kids under 1.00m are free) but it’s so fantastic to be there and if you go there once a year then it’s even more interesting for you. If you live near Cologne you have to go to this fun park because if you only go there once in your life you will never forget the ride on the roller coasters. Try it, it’s so cool and great, you will have a lot of fun !!!!!
There aren’t only roller coasters, there are water roller coasters and shows, too. And slow things for old people. One part of the park is only made for little kids. Also go there and enjoy yourself !!!!!
Black Mamba
Hi! This is our article about the new rollercoaster in the Phantasialand. The rollercoaster is called ”Black Mamba ”. It has a looping where you sit upside down, when you do it. Black Mamba has very cool screws and is the fastest rollercoaster in the Phantasialand, and maybe of the whole world, you are just having 50 seconds fun, because it is so fast!!!!! ;-) ;-) ;-)
And here are some details of the rollercoaster:
The rollercoaster opened on 24. 5. 2006, so it’s pretty new! When there are many people, you have to wait up to 2 hours, because it is very very new, and everybody wants to go on this fantastic rollercoaster. In the year 2004 they started to design Black Mamba, and in the year 2005 they started to build it, and now they are ready!! Black Mamba was very expensive, they spent 22.000.000 Euro on it, but when you see it, you will know that they’ve done a good job. For some animal sound effects, they spent 200.000 Euro, there are many African figures, and they were actually made in Africa!
If you are interested to see the top rollercoaster of Germany, then I would say, go to the Phantasialand in Brühl, and have a lot of fun with the rollercoaster and the other activities. It’s not too expensive, because you only have to pay once, and then you can do as many activities as you like. You will have fun!!!! (I promise you!)

Phantasialand
If you go to the Phantasialand you will have a lot of fun. You can find it in Brühl near Cologne.
There are a lot of rollercoasters. The Phantasialand is open at 9 o´clock and it closes at 6 o´clock but in the summer when the weather is hot it sometimes closes at 7 o´clock. You can visit it from April until November every year. The rollercoasters you can use from 9.45 until 17.45. The black mamba is the new and the biggest rollercoaster in the Phantasialand. It shows you a lot of Africa. There are special soundeffects of animals which live there. Once a year you can buy a funcard, because it allows you to go there for 40 times. It costs 82 Euro.
Phantasialand is an attraction for young and old people. People come from everywhere to visit it ,because it is popular in the whole world. We think Phantasialand is the most interesting and funniest freetime park. You have to go there soon!
